Charlie and Mary are passionate about many things.  However, when their son, Steve, approached them about starting a fund in the Washington County Community Foundation and creating their Legacy, Charlie and Mary needed to really contemplate the impact they wanted to have in our community in the future.  

Having volunteered for decades in our county, they have seen their share of the needs of some of our neighbors as well as the generous hearts of others.  Ultimately, Charlie and Mary decided to establish their fund to help victims of domestic violence and abuse.  Through this fund, Charlie and Mary will be able to help people who find themselves in this situation for generations to come.
