The Rise Up Program provides support to nonprofits in Washington County to ensure a healthy, well-supported, and sustainable nonprofit sector from which all will benefit. This initiative was established by the generosity of the donors to the Washington County Community Foundation in 2023.
“Our goal is to work side by side with our local nonprofits on projects they have identified and prioritized” stated Judy Johnson, Executive Director. “We will do our best to meet them where they are at and help them “Rise UP” to the next level, whatever that may look like. We are so grateful to our donors who have made it possible for us to venture into such a unique partnership.”
Nonprofit organizations across Washington County will be able to receive a variety of services through Rise-Up, including Board Development, Grant Research and Writing, and Marketing and Communications.
In order to request services through RISE UP, non-profit leaders should complete the application. We will respond to all requests, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide services for every request. Our ability to respond favorably to a request will be determined by:
- Completeness of application
- Scope of services requested
- Timeline for completion
- Availability of Washington County Community Foundation Staff
