Cecil and Martha Smith Early Literacy Fund

Cecil and Martha were both avid readers and knew that their love of reading started when they were very young. After Cecil passed away, Martha wanted to do something to kindle that love into kids across Washington County so she established the Cecil and Martha Smith Early Literacy Fund. The grants from this fund will be used to promote the Dolly Parton Imagination Library in our community as well as other early literacy initiatives in Washington County.
