In 2004 the Board of Directors decided to start a Touch Tomorrow Fund that was also an Acorn Fund. The directions with the Acorn agreement is that the fund is to begin issuing grants in 2124, 100 years after being established. The 2004 Board wanted to demonstrate their confidence in the permanence of the Foundation and the importance of Touch Tomorrow Funds. Current board members continue to contribute to this fund.
