Holly Humphrey Scholarship Fund
Holly was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia when she was in the third grade. She fought hard for two years, unable to attend school, yet keeping up with all her classes. After grueling treatment, she “kicked cancer’s butt.” She excelled academically and spent many hours helping others. She joined the Washington County Youth Foundation because she wanted to give back to the community that helped her so much when she was sick.
Holly passed away unexpectedly in 2016. Her classmates wanted to do something to honor her, so they established this scholarship fund. Holly intended to attend college and obtain a degree in the medical field. This scholarship will help future Salem High School graduates achieve this dream.
