Women’s Giving Circle to Host Second Annual Giving From the Heart Tea

The Women’s Giving Circle of the Washington County Community Foundation is finalizing plans for the Giving From The Heart Tea which will be held on April 14, 2012 at 2:00 at Southern Hills Church.  For a $50 tax deductible donation to the Women’s Fund at the Washington County Community Foundation attendees will receive a ballot and will be able to vote on which groups will receive grants from the Women’s Fund this year.

This is a great opportunity for clubs, church groups, families, and others to enjoy each other’s company and do good things for women and children in Washington County.

The full amount of your donation will be used for grantmaking. All the food, entertainment and decorations will be provided by our sponsors. The grant applicants will present their grants and based on attendee votes will be awarded checks to fund their programs.  During the vote tallying there will be entertainment. The purpose of the event is for women to pool their resources to have a greater impact on the lives of other women and children in Washington County. The afternoon will be fun and beneficial to the community at the same time.
