The Washington County Community Foundation will offer a series of “Brown Bag” educational seminars for local nonprofits, beginning April 25, 2007.  “Our goal is to work with our nonprofit partners and help them to build their capacity,” explained Judy Johnson, Executive Director for the Foundation.  “We will host four seminars in 2007.  Each seminar will be informative and also offer great networking opportunities.”

The April 25th session will be: Rules and Regs.  Just how has the PPA 2006 affected nonprofit operations?  Whether you work for a seasoned organization or a young nonprofit, you will benefit from this overview of the rules and regulations that affect all nonprofits.  Also covered are Pension Protection Act 2006 changes that impact nonprofits.

This session will be held at the Community Learning Center and will begin at noon.  Attendees should bring their own drink and lunch.  The Foundation will provide dessert. Please RSVP by April 20 by calling the Foundation at 883-7334.
